FIELD: test and measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to defense technology, in particular to methods for testing navigation equipment installed on the chassis of land vehicles. Int he method, the proposed way to control the accuracy characteristics of the topographic reference and navigation system lies in the fact that the accuracy check is performed based on the results of the route between the control points of the reference geodetic network of the test track, after which, based on certain values of the coordinates and direction angles of the longitudinal axis directions of the vehicle, errors in the determination of coordinates and direction angles are calculated, and then the received error values are compared with the established limit values. In the block of control operations, to determine the accuracy characteristics of navigation equipment, the following are included: an operation to control the time and accuracy of orientation with the help of a theodolite and artillery shell, operation for the accuracy of determining the location of the vehicle on a digital terrain map, when determining the accuracy characteristics of navigation equipment, including checks on the following parameters: accuracy of determining the increments of planned coordinates from the traversed path with non-stop motion up to 2 hours using information about the speed from external sources, accuracy of determining the increments of the planned coordinates and the height with continuous correction in motion according to the signals of the NAP of the CNS and the altitude determination system, at the stage of bearer and acceptance tests, the accuracy is estimated from the limiting error in determining the increments of the planned coordinates, and at the stage of periodic, qualification and type tests, according to the mean square error, the accuracy of determining the directional angle of the longitudinal axis of the basic chassis of the vehicle is estimated from the marginal error when carrying out any kinds of tests.
EFFECT: technical result obtained in the implementation of the invention consists in forming a method for controlling the accuracy characteristics of the topographic reference and navigation system, providing a detailed level of checks of the accuracy characteristics both permanently installed on the vehicle, and remote navigation-topogeodetic equipment, reduction of material costs for carrying out various types of tests by optimizing the methodology.
