SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture, in particular, to reclamation and agronomy. In the method, the secondary bogging of drained forage lands is evaluated according to appearance in the vegetation of hayfields and pastures of moisture-loving plants. At that, to establish the degree of bogging the rapid method is used for determining the content of plants-indicators of overwatering by the formulas X=(Y+9.47)/24.5 for peat and X=(Y+15.54)/26.35 for mineral soils where X is the degree of bogging; Y is the content of plants-indicators as a percentage. When the first degree of bogging the content of meadow grass, fowl bluegrass, white and pink clover, globe-flower, quick grass is 10-30%; when the second the content of sedge, water avens, fowl bluegrass, meg-many-feet, bedstraw, tufted hair grass is 30-50%; when third the content of the swamp horsetail, marsh cinquefoil, tufted sedge, bladder sedge, fox sedge, rush, honeysweet, rough-weed, baldingera grass - 50-70%, taking into account the hydrological method comprising determining the level of soil moisture and soil and groundwater and geomorphological method on the basis of differences in intensity and area of gleyzation of genetic soil horizons.

EFFECT: method enables to simplify the process of assessing the secondary bogging of drained hayfields and pastures, to increase the efficiency and accuracy of determination of the degree of bogging.
