FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry and may be used at tinned food factories. Proposed device comprises external drum accommodating helical insert, filter, inlet pipe, pipe to discharge filtrate and thickened fraction. Filter represents multifilar helical perforated surface with helical lines along its surface and helical grooves inside said filter at 5°-30° to filter rotational axis shaped to curvilinear recesses with their centres of curvature located inside filter cross-section. Said screening surface is composed of one equal width perforated strip coiled and bent in flexure lines located at angle to strip lengthwise edges to make screw lines and surfaces in the form of curvilinear recesses that differ in shape and size. Note here that distance between flexure lines equal the sum of inner perforated surface recess perimeter lengths.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and reliability.
