FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: gyro instrument positions necessary for testing are defined, mutual stiffness of fixation of these positions is determined relative to each other, at the same time a base is used, connected with the necessary positions of the gyro instrument, as well as the locating plane of the gyro instrument. Then positions of the locating plane are controlled, and this locating plane is determined by the position of contact surfaces of the locating supports of the gyro instrument in the testing equipment, which in process of inspection are matched with contact surfaces of the supports of the gyro instrument. The device of gyro instrument positioning in space is made of three flat boards rigidly fixed to each other, at the same time these boards form a polyhedral spatial angle, planes (faces) of which are perpendicular to each other. The inner cavity of the polyhedral spatial angle is used for installation on one of the faces of the gyro instrument, for this purpose on this face there are supports arranged for installation of the gyro instrument on them and its stiff fixation.
EFFECT: expansion of functional capabilities.
