METHOD OF DETERMINING NON-ORTHOGONALITY OF SENSITIVITY AXES OF LASER GYROSCOPE Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC G01C19/00

FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of gyroscopic instrument-making. Essence of the invention consists in that the method of determining non-orthogonality of the axes of sensitivity of a three-axis laser gyroscope (TLG) comprises steps of setting the TLG onto a faceplate in an arbitrary position. After the corresponding gyroscope sensitivity axes are displayed orthogonal to the table axis rotation axis, wherein said axes position is characterized by zero projections of angular increments measured by said two axes of sensitivity at successive turns of faceplate in opposite directions (for compensation of Earth rotation). Then round table is additionally inclined at angle π/2 relative to initial position and successively turned in opposite directions (clockwise and counterclockwise) by fixed angle, and value of non-orthogonality between corresponding sensitivity axes is calculated from mathematical ratio.

EFFECT: technical result is high accuracy of determining non-orthogonality of sensitivity axes of TLG.
