SUBSTANCE: in a transmitting device, a redundant bit adding module adds a redundant bit to each data bit obtained by a single-bit dividing module; and an interleaver performs interleaving. The transmitting device transmits a signal that has been frequency-modulated by a frequency modulation module. In a receiving device, a symbol recognition module performs symbol recognition at a Nyquist point for a signal that is demodulated by a frequency-modulated signal demodulation module; a bit conversion module performs bit conversion according to the symbol recognition result; and the frame restoration module deletes the redundant bit added by the redundant bit adding module of the transmitting device, from a bit string that is deinterleaved by a deinterleaver.
EFFECT: performing error correction using a simple configuration, even when communication is carried out in an unfavourable environment.
