SUBSTANCE: proposed is a toothbrush containing a handle, a head connected to the handle and having a longitudinal axis, a basic surface, a pair of opposed side edges and multiple tooth cleaning elements passing from the basic surface to the outside. The tooth cleaning elements include inner tooth cleaning elements and at least one group of peripheral tooth cleaning elements along each side edge of the head. Each peripheral tooth cleaning element passes from the base surface farther than the inner cleaning elements; each group of peripheral tooth cleaning elements includes at least three adjacent peripheral tooth cleaning elements. The central element from among them passing from the base surface farther than the uttermost elements of adjacent peripheral tooth cleaning elements.
EFFECT: improvement of technical properties.
