SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ophthalmology and can be applied for through keratoplasty. Corneal cut is performed. Cornea-fixing temporary suture of 8-shaped form is applied. Remaining layers of cornea are cut up. Cut out flap of cornea is brought out from under the 8-shaped suture, and donor transplant is laid on said suture. Transplant is fixed by preliminary sutures. 8-shaped suture is removed. Transplant is fixed with uninterrupted suture.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to reduce risk of injuring iris, crystalline lens, reduce risk of vitreous body falling out.
