FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of anti-icing agents and can be used against icing on road and aerodrome pavements. The anti-icing composition consists of a metal nitrate-based reagent - granular dried calcium nitrate, or granular dried magnesium nitrate, or mixture thereof Ca(NO3)2:Mg(NO3)2= 3-1:1-3 pts.wt, sodium silicate and a surfactant. The components are taken in the following ratios, wt %: metal nitrate-based reagent 95.0-98.0, sodium silicate 1.0-3.0, surfactant 1.0-2.0. The composition can contain an additional metal corrosion inhibitor in amount of 0.1-1.0 wt %, selected from: urotropin, a mixture of salts of fatty acids and sulphamic acids, a mixture of alkylamide-substituted tall acid derivatives.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain an anti-icing composition with high melting capacity with respect to ice, is effective at low temperatures and does not have a destructive effect on cement-concrete cover.
