FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves adding an inhibitor to aqueous media, the inhibitor being 2,6-di-(1'-methyl-2'-butenyl)-4-methoxyaniline. The inhibitor has concentration of 50-200 mg/l in aqueous media which differ on degree of mineralisation.
EFFECT: high degree of protecting metals from corrosion while reducing concentration of the inhibitor.
