FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves adding a corrosion inhibitor to aqueous media, the inhibitor used being 2,6-di-(2'-cyclopenten-3'-yl)-4-methoxyaniline. Said corrosion inhibitor is used with concentration of 100-400 mg/l in aqueous oxygen-containing media, differing on degree of mineralisation, with oxygen content of 9-10 mg/l.
EFFECT: high degree of protecting metals from corrosion while reducing concentration of the inhibitor.
