FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to low-temperature filling and storage of liquefied natural gas (LNG) at storage facilities. Method for filling of reserve storage facilities with LNG consists in LNG filling of an underground reserve storage facility and a surface delivery storage facility, which are located at short distance from natural gas consumer, LNG storage and its output to the consumer at maintaining at storage facilities of guaranteed excess pressure of natural gas. In order to fill in the storage facilities, LNG received from the natural gas main pipeline with excess pressure is used. Natural gas from the main gas pipeline is supplied for drying from moisture and for cleaning from mechanical impurities; dried and cleaned original flow is supplied for throttling to a three-flow vortex tube, in which original gas flow is separated into cold, hot gaseous and liquid flows. After recuperative heat exchangers and throttling the cold flow is directed to the surface and the underground storage facilities for liquefied gas, from which LNG is supplied to the consumption tank for LNG shipment to the consumer, and the gas evaporated at the storage facilities, after having been cooled in recuperative heat exchangers with cold flow of the vortex tube and after having separated the formed condensate of the consumption tank, is mixed with hot flow of the vortex tube and supplied to the consumer as gaseous product.

EFFECT: use of the invention will allow performing guaranteed safe storage of liquefied natural gas and compensating for losses of evaporated LNG at storage facilities.
