FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method of evaporation and use of liquefied natural gas for systems of autonomous power supply in Arctic zone consists of the following operations: installation of a cryogenic LNG storage in permafrost soil; supply of liquefied natural gas from the deepened cryogenic storage into an evaporator; evaporation of liquefied natural gas by means of heat exchange with spent gases from the gas engine; direction of the evaporated liquefied natural gas into a gas header; direction of one part of gas from the gas header into the gas engine for power generation; direction of the second part of evaporated liquefied natural gas from the gas header into a boiler plant for thermal energy generation.
EFFECT: reduction of heat flows into a cryogenic storage and increased duration of non-drainage storage of liquefied natural gas, provision of complex autonomous power supply of loads with electric and thermal power with minimum losses.
