SUBSTANCE: method is realised by using passwords for authentication purposes, at the same time determination of a password to be used for authentication purposes depends on a switching trigger, such as, at least, geographic coordinates, the sequence of changes in coordinates of location of a mobile device in space, a voice command, a name of a Wi-Fi network or a Bluetooth-device. If the correct switching trigger is used, then authentication is carried out using a simple password, otherwise authentication is carried out using a password of optimal complexity. At the same time the simple password is a password corresponding to the switching trigger. At the same time the optimal complexity of the password is determined on the basis of at least information on applications installed in the mobile device and information on data stored in the mobile device.
EFFECT: improved level of protection for data stored in a mobile device.
