SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electronic cigarettes. Said technical result is achieved by the fact that in the disclosed system, smartphone (2) is configured to establish communicative interaction with the aerosol-generating device, such as an electronic cigarette, preferably by using a wireless communication protocol, such as Bluetooth®, so that devices can exchange data. Smartphone (2) has a positioning module, such as GPS receiver (26), and is adapted to store the position in the data storage unit (28) each time communication is established. Thus, the user can receive the last stored position from the data storage unit (28) and display it on the map on smartphone display (22), thereby helping him to locate electronic cigarette (4).
EFFECT: high accuracy of determining location of an electronic cigarette.
