FIELD: electric engineering.

SUBSTANCE: electromagnetic switching device contains body equipped with straight-traversing electromagnet with E-type keeper and core furnished with making coil on middle core, block with fixed contacts, keeper hinged cross-arm with moving contacts, return spring, dampers pivotally connected with core through the latter and cover fixed on block. Device body is thin-walled and upper part of coil former is furnished with longitudinal edge flanges adjusted in dips of upper part of body side walls and with fixed flanges of block side walls. Lower part of coil former is mounted on dampers with flanges on upper edge and located on side walls of core base.

EFFECT: reduction of dimensions, weight and materials consumption.
