FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: ultra-wideband antenna consists of two strip horns formed by curving diverging edges of metal foil which is deposited on a dielectric substrate, and connected to a narrow exciting slit, excited by an asymmetrical strip line connected to a coaxial connector, wherein the dielectric substrate is divided into three parts, on the first and second parts of which, lying parallel to each other, there are corresponding strip horns, and between the first and second parts of the dielectric substrate there is a first and a second dipole radiator in form of three-dimensional metal bodies of a defined shape, e.g. wedge-like, and dimensions, galvanically connected to the metal foil forming the strip horns.
EFFECT: shorter length of the strip horn during operation in a wide frequency range, wider matching frequency band owing to structural combination for shared complex use of two types of radiators - strip horns and dipole radiators, providing high mechanical strength of the structure.
