FIELD: superhigh- and extremely high-frequency antenna engineering. SUBSTANCE: antenna array has first-range radiators and feeders forming aperture that functions as impedance structure for second range, as well as impedance-structure feed and exciter arranged on aperture periphery. Impedance structure is, essentially, diffraction gratings built up of strip conductors on surface of insulating substrate metallized on screen side. Some of diffraction grating strip conductors regularly arranged over impedance structure aperture form, together with metallized insulating substrate, asymmetric strip lines functioning as first- range feeders. Irregularities, such as slits, printed-circuit disks are regularly arranged in field of asymmetric strip lines and function as nonresonant radiators of first range. Impedance structure in the form of diffraction grating is excited by horn exciter of E-type surface wave of insulating substrate in second range of higher frequency than first one. EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities. 6 dwg
