SUBSTANCE: adaptive spatial interference cancellation method involves making an antenna system, which consists of a flat multi-element antenna array, antenna elements, controlled phase changers, a signal adder and a measurement, computation and control unit; in the field of view of the beam pattern, an array of control angular directions is formed, for each of which the band-stop phase distribution of the field in the antenna aperture is determined, wherein there is nulling in the beam pattern in that direction, without disrupting the working information receiving mode of the antenna system; angular directions in which interference should be cancelled are determined, for which, in the antenna array for each control angular direction, the corresponding band-stop phase distribution is successively established and the direction in which formation of the band-stop phase distribution leads to interference cancellation is detected; an array of control angular directions in which interference cancellation was detected is formed and the resultant band-stop phase distribution, which provides interference cancellation in all detected directions, is established.

EFFECT: providing interference cancellation without prior information on directions of arrival without disrupting the mode of uninterrupted reception of working information by the antenna system.
