FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns radar-tracking systems of surface observation on the basis of onboard pulsewise-doppler radar station of low-level flight. Measuring of surface height in i,j elements of radar resolution is performed on range and frequency on the basis of more exact determination of an angle of place of surface elements in the i,j Doppler resolution devices (DRD) and formation of the three-dimensional image of surface in the form of matrix of amplitudes A (i,j) and matrixes of heights H (i,j). The method of measuring of height and formation of the three-dimensional image of surface according to onboard radar with the Doppler selection on frequency consists in making of a mode of low-level flight which combines the narrow-band Doppler filtration of the accepted signals allowing to dissect under a certain acute angle an antenna directivity diagram (ADD) on narrow devices of DRD resolution spatially-extended on corners, and monopulsing method of measuring of a catopter device azimuth within DRD with subsequent definition of an angle of surface element place and its height, that allows to generate a matrix of heights H (i,j) in the same devices of the resolution along with a matrix of amplitudes A (i,j).
EFFECT: measurement accuracy increase.
