METHOD OF PLASTY OF VAST THROUGH DEFECT OF SOFT TISSUES OF CHEEK, MOUTH ANGLE, UPPER AND LOWER LIP FRAGMENTS Russian patent published in 2013 - IPC A61B17/00 

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to oncology. Orbicular muscle of mouth and remaining parts of upper and lower lip are mobilised. Cutaneous-adipose flap, corresponding in area to defect, is formed from adjacent anatomical areas. Masticatory muscle is exposed from the place of attachment to angle of mandible to zygomatic bone, separated from the place of attachment to lower jaw. Two equal pedicles are formed, passed to mouth angle, fixed to remaining part of orbicular muscle of mouth and muscles of upper and lower lip. Fascial temporal flap is cut out in temporal area, screwed through tunnel into oral cavity and fixed to defect of mucosa of cheek, lops and pedicles of muscular flap. Cutaneous-adipose flap is laid onto defect and fixed to edges layer-by-layer. Top of temporal flap is unscrewed outside, fixed to skin of cutaneous-adipose flap in area of mouth angle.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to reconstruct vast hollow defects of cheek, mouth angle, upper and lower lip fragments.
