SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oncology and maxillofacial surgery, and can be used for surgical reconstruction of lower lip. Lower lip is reconstructed simultaneously after resection of its fragment, wherein by vertical incisions of skin from base of defect to lower edge of lower jaw skin flap is formed. Then the top of the skin flap is pulled up to the upper skin edge of the defect and the lateral edges of the skin flap are sutured to the lateral skin edges of the defect. Thereafter, the triangular flaps of the base of the skin flap, as well as the triangular flaps of the lower jaw are sutured together. From the mucous membrane of the vestibule of the mouth, a mucous flap is formed with an apex symmetrical to the apex of the defect, and a base at the lower transitional fold, thereafter, the apex of the mucosal flap is moved upwards to the apex of the skin flap and sutured.

EFFECT: method enables one-step reconstruction of lower lip tissues during its resection, achieving a high functional and cosmetic effect, improving patient’s quality of life and reducing surgical injuries by forming triangular skin flaps without damaging muscular tissue and forming a red border of the lower lip.
