FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to calix[4]arene compositions for sorption of azo dyes from aqueous solutions, which can be used, for example, for treating industrial waste water. The present composition consists of calix[4]arene amidoamine derivatives of formula 1 and formula 2 in weight ratio of components of (1-10):1, respectively.
EFFECT: obtaining a sorbent having the best sorption properties with respect to Tropeolin OO and a wider range of existing agents for sorbing azo dyes from aqueous solutions.
