LOCOMOTIVE CABIN AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM Russian patent published in 2013 - IPC B61C17/12

Abstract RU 2489287 C2

FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly to locomotive cabin heating and vent system. Proposed system comprises air conditioner connected via power terminals of three-pole contactor to locomotive AC power supply, heaters, electric stoves, flat electric heating panels, IR-aerophyte, heating elements of said components being connected to three-phase HV source, and container for biological stock vented by air conditioning system blower. Besides, system is equipped with controlled three-phase rectifiers, voltage controller, microprocessor unit and temperature regulator. Heating elements of heat curtain, air heaters, electric stoves, heating panels and IR radiator of IR-aerophyte are connected to rectifier output lines via two-pole automatic circuit breakers. Rectifier control channels are connected to voltage controller. Temperature transducers, humidity transducer, gas analyser, remote control modules, terminals of automatic two-pole circuit breakers, motors of blowers, solenoids, locking terminals of contactors and temperature regulator panel are connected to microprocessor unit. Microprocessor unit is electrically connected with voltage transducer and, via communication interface, with locomotive control system.

EFFECT: comfortable microclimate in locomotive cabin.
