FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to treatment of aqueous solutions, particularly, to device for electric flotation of fluids. Fluid cleaner comprises cylindrical casing 1 with fluid inlet 2 arranged tangentially to casing generatrix at casing bottom. Ring electrodes 3 connected to power supply are arranged above said inlet along casing axis and spaced apart. Cone 5 is arranged approximately at casing center to guide fluid upward flows from periphery to casing center. Conical device 6 to accumulate sludge light fractions is arranged at casing top section. Note here that ring 7 to constrict spread of floated sludge is arranged between casing wall and said conical device. Clarified fluid drain device 8 is arranged at casing top section. Sludge heavy fraction discharge device 9 is arranged at casing bottom while conical device to collect sludge light fractions is furnished with sludge light fraction discharge device.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, simplified design.
