FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: method to measure flow of multi-phase liquid consists in determination of sound speed and density of each phase, determination of sound speed in each liquid phase in the operating range of temperatures. At the same time amplitudes of oscillation of a pipe, where the multi-phase liquid is flowing, are measured and recorded, as well as corresponding frequencies. The frequency range is selected with maximum values of amplitudes. The measured range of frequencies is divided into three parts, the lower frequencies correspond to a gas phase, the medium ones - to an oil phase, and the high ones - to a water phase, in each part of which after application of quick Fourier transforms they identify maximum values of amplitudes, and the volume flow of each phase is calculated according to the established ratio.
EFFECT: reduced error of each phase measurement.
