FIELD: oil excavating and refining industries. SUBSTANCE: in agreement with invention source and receiver of acoustic pulses are installed inside pipe-line in tested volume of flow. Time of transit of pulses through tested volume is recorded. Number of pulses not recorded within fixed time interval is found and their share relative to total number of pulses is determined. Flow velocity is measured and flow rate of components is computed by given formulas. Velocity is measured by correlation method using additional monitored volume located with displacement along movement of flow or by Doppler method. EFFECT: more efficient determination of flow rates of components of oil with inhomogeneities in the form of bubbles with lesser errors. 1 dwg
