SUBSTANCE: reactor containment (8) comprises: a main reactor containment (3) enclosing a pressurised reactor vessel (2); a secondary reactor containment (4), installed outside the main reactor containment (3) and having resistance to pressure and tightness, equivalent to resistance to pressure and tightness inherent in the main reactor containment (3); an air bag (5), arranged inside the secondary reactor containment (4), which in case of an emergency in the main reactor containment (3) expands when high pressure gas released from the inner volume of the main reactor containment (3) is received and enclosed into this bag; and a discharge pipeline (6) for gas phase that connects the main reactor containment (3) with the air bag (5).
EFFECT: lower probability of radiation release into environment.
