FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of rooting of African violet cuttings and can be used for flower seedling. The method includes rooting of African violet, processing of the lower cut of the cuttings, which is carried out with an aqueous solution of heteroauxin with a concentration of active substance of 0.0085 mg/g with the exposure for 1 to 6 hours, bedding out to a depth of at least 1.5 cm and supplementary lighting for 8-9 hours per day in a sheltered condition for 25-35 days.
EFFECT: invention enables to shorten the period of growth of cuttings to 15-20-25 days by using a more effective stimulant, to increase and expand the range of flowering plants.
