FIELD: printing industry.
SUBSTANCE: system for a gravure printing machine comprises at least a reservoir for ink application onto the surface of the engraved optional rolling cylinder (35), which in its turn applies ink onto the surface of the gravure cylinder (39) of the gravure printing machine with a stencilled shaft (40), having relief ledges corresponding to engravings (38), which are filled with ink on the specified gravure cylinder. The specified system of ink application additionally comprises a wiping system (8, 9) designed to wipe the surface of the specified optional rolling cylinder and to regenerate the wiped ink in the reservoir.
EFFECT: improved printing quality and reduced ink consumption.
