FIELD: polygraphy.
SUBSTANCE: proposed system comprises container to apply ink onto the surface of engraved ink roller that apply ink of the surface of master cylinder with the help of screen cylinder. The latter features raised ledges corresponding to engravings to be filled with ink on master cylinder. Proposed inking system comprises wiper system to wipe drum roller surface and to recover wiped-off ink in container.
EFFECT: simplified gravure printing machine and method.
