SUBSTANCE: mechanical part includes at least one insert from composite material with a metal matrix, inside which ceramic fibres are drawn; an insert from composite material is obtained from a variety of saturated strands, each of which includes a ceramic fibre in a metal cover. The method involves fabrication of at least one insert having the rotation geometry, with a stage of winding of a bundle or a bound layer of saturated strands around the part forming a framework; at least some part of winding is performed in straight-line direction. The invention also refers to a winding device intended for implementation of the fabrication method of an elongated mechanical part.

EFFECT: invention allows making mechanical part of an elongated shape with high resistance to tension and compression.
