FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: method includes performance of stripping works and extraction of a part of a bed reaching under drifts, with an open pit forming ledges. Extraction chambers are arranged according to the technology of deep mining of coal beds from the ledge of the pit board. Reserves are prepared by arrangement of drifts, extraction of coal by facilities of underground works mechanisation. The roof of the extraction chamber is fixed with a support of developing entries. The distance between extraction chambers is accepted as three-four times more than width of the chamber depending on strength characteristics of coal and rock massifs. Coal of the chamber-to-chamber pillar is partially extracted with a heading and winning combine in diagonal stopes, aligned at the angle of 120-135 degrees to the axis of the extraction chamber and arranged in the staggered order, the length of the stope is accepted as not more than the length of the combine, and transport of coal broken in stopes along the extraction chamber is carried out with a self-propelled car.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase safety and efficiency of mining.
