FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: method for simulating current load when testing DC load switching equipment suggests supply of DC voltage to outputs of equipment to be connected to switching load, voltage which is not less than supply voltage. At that voltage which is not less than supply voltage is fed through two secondary power sources; in this connection one source supplies voltage to negative terminal the equipment to be connected to switching load and negative terminal of power supply circuit of the equipment while the second source supplies voltage to positive terminal of the equipment to be connected to switching load and positive terminal of power supply circuit of the equipment thus providing passing through power supply circuits of the equipment of values correspondent to the rated values. Power supply from secondary power sources is synchronised.

EFFECT: possibility of current load modulation for power supply circuits of the controlled equipment, reduction in power of supply source.
