FIELD: electro-testing equipment.
SUBSTANCE: method and device can be used for serviceability testing of electric bridges of electric activation squibs of articles of rocket engineering relating to extremely dangerous circuits as well as for testing integrity of electric-engineering elements and chains of thermocouples, pressure relays, closed electric circuits and wires of cables. Voltage is applied; current pulse is formed and applied to electro-technical element. After voltage is applied, the constant current is formed with value to be lower than minimal provided value of operation current of electro-technical elements. The current passes through electro-technical elements. Flowing of current through electro-technical elements is registered and if the current goes through the elements, they are judged to be serviceable. Then current pulse sequence is formed with amplitude to be higher than provided value of operation current of electro-technical elements. Pulses are applied to electro-technical elements till they operate. Device for serviceability testing has switch and first and second resistors. First and second light-emitting diodes are introduced into the device additionally. Switch is made in form of multivibrator. First output of multivibrator is connected with first output of first electro-technical element and with minus of power source through first resistor and first light-emitting diode connected in series. Second output of multivibrator is connected with first output of second electro-technical element and with minus of power source through second resistor and second light-emitting diode connected in series. Second outputs of first and second electro-technical elements are connected with plus terminal of power source.
EFFECT: widened functional capabilities; improved efficiency of static and dynamic control; improved reliability of operation.
