FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: frame antenna (1) has a first open conducting loop (2), a second open conducting loop (3), a variable-capacitance tuning capacitor (4) and a communication loop (5). The first end (7) of the conducting loop (2) is connected to the first end of the conducting loop (3) and forms a zero potential point; the second end (6) of the conducting loop (2) is connected to the first lead of the variable-capacitance tuning capacitor (4); the second end (8) of the conducting loop (3) is connected to the second lead of the variable-capacitance tuning capacitor (4). The communication loop (5) is a piece of coaxial cable, the inner conductor (9) of which is connected to the zero potential point (7). The outer conductor (10) is galvanically connected to the zero potential point (7); the second ends of the communication loop (5) and the outer conductor (10) of the coaxial cable are the output transmission line (12) of the antenna (1); conducting loops (2) and (3), along with the variable-capacitance tuning capacitor (4) and the communication loop (5) are placed in the protective housing of the antenna (13) made from radiotransparent material.
EFFECT: high antenna efficiency, protection from weather and mechanical effects.
