METHOD OF SOLIDIFICATION OF CARBINOL OPTICAL ADHESIVE "BALZAMIN-N" Russian patent published in 2013 - IPC C09J149/00

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to solidification of carbinol optical adhesive, for application in optical, opto-electronic and electronic industries, and is intended for gluing opticalcomponents from glass and crystals with light dividing coatings and without them, light filters and polaroids with difference of temperature coefficients of linear expansion not more than 50*10-7 degree-1 in devices which work to 120°C. Method of dimethylvunylethynylcarbinol polymerisation under influence of redox system is described. Oxidation-reduction system contains as oxidant benzoyl peroxide, and as reducer contains 2,3-xylidine. In dry glass vessel dimethylvinylethynylcarbinol is weighted, initiator of polymerisation-dried benzoyle peroxide is dosed into it, vessel is placed into mixing device until initiator is completely dissolved. Accelerant of polymerisation, which represents 2,3-xylidine solution in dimethylvinylethynylcarbinol is introduced into obtained homogeneous solution. Then solution is placed into mixing device until homogenous solution of adhesive sample is obtained.

EFFECT: adhesive has improved technical characteristics.
