FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of obtaining esters of fatty acids from fats and can be applied in production of liquid fuel. Liquid fuel is obtained from fats with content of free fatty acids from 0.1 to 50%. Method of obtaining liquid fuel is realized in the following way: fat is heated to temperature 30-40°C, enzymatic hydrolysis with application of lipase is carried out, twice mixed with concentrated sulphuric acid in amount 1-3% and ethanol ort methanol is carried out with mixing for 1 hour at temperature 60-70°C. Mixture is kept for 24 hours after first and second mixing for glycerol to separate. Glycerol is separated and liquid fuel is obtained. For production of liquid fuel both vegetable and animal-derived fats with content of free fatty acids from 0.1 to 50% can be used. Obtained fuel has low cost.
EFFECT: 20% decrease of labour consumption of technological process of liquid fuel production.
