FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for esterification and transesterification of fat raw materials and can be used to improve the quality of both commercial and stored diesel fuels, as well as to produce motor biofuels for diesel engines. The method for esterification and transesterification of fat raw materials involves the introduction of raw materials, alcohol and a catalyst into the reactor, followed by mixing the reaction mass in a vortex device due to the interaction of two vortex flows moving along the axis of the device towards each other. Fat raw materials with an acid number of up to 20 mg KOH/g are heated to 40-45°C, treated with ultrasound at a frequency of 25-50 kHz and a power of 300-500 W, a catalyst is loaded, being an immobilized regiospecific lipase in an amount of 0.5-1% of the weight of the raw material, depending on the initial acid number. Alcohol is added to the reaction mixture in a dosed manner, taking into account the alcohol/fat ratio 3:1-6:1, and esterification and transesterification are carried out for 60-120 minutes until the formation of the ether phase with the content of β-monoacylglycerin in it.
EFFECT: use of the proposed method will make it possible to intensify the reactions of esterification and transesterification of fat raw materials, to reduce the economic and energy costs of its implementation while maintaining the quality and yield of the resulting product.
