FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: rotary ICE comprises stationary hollow housing accommodating the rotor. Said housing is confined by two side covers. Cylindrical hollow seats are arranged along housing edges to accommodate locking drums with grooves for rotor vane passage. Exhaust gas discharge, fuel feed and ignition plug holes are made at housing surfaces or those of side covers. Fuel mix is ignited in combustion chambers temporarily isolated by disc-driven valve control mechanism. Engine is composed of segments divided by parallel inner lateral covers with passages for passages of rotor shaft and lock drums and compressed fuel mix and working gas. In segments of the first type fuel mix is injected and compressed, working gases expand and are discharged. Segments of the second type bypass compressed fuel mix from first-type segments into third-type segments, that is, combustion chamber segments, and working gas from third-type segments into first-type segments with the help of discs.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, simple design, better manufacturability, decreased weight and overall sizes.
