FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed engine comprises cylindrical vaned rotor arranged in hollow housing provided with gas exchange openings. Cylindrical hollow seats accommodating gate drums are arranged in symmetry all around housing inner surface. Vaned rotors are arranged in engine housing separate compression sections. Number of compression sections equals those of main rotor vanes and gate drums. Invariable-volume hollow combustion chambers are arranged on said housing in number twice as great as that of gate drums. Compression sections, combustion chambers and rotor section arc sectors are interconnected via gas ducts and bypass openings opened and closed at regular intervals by cylindrical slide valves. Compressed working mix is fired and completely combusted in closed and invariable volume of combustion chambers. Working cycles are tuned so that only one of two adjacent chambers can eject gases in expansion sector every regular expansion cycle.
EFFECT: simplified design and kinematics, higher power output.
