FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: method to measure coordinates of colour includes illumination of an investigated sample, correction of relative spectral sensitivity of a multi-element photodetector, conversion of reflected or transmitted radiation by the multi-element photodetector into electric signals and their summation with three artificial neurons with appropriate synaptic links. At the same time a new system of colour coordinate measurements is generated, simultaneously coefficients are determined, which establish links between functions of standard system and new system colours summation, structural parameters of correcting light filters and values of synaptic links, and with which the target functions meet the minimum conditions. Then in front of appropriate photodetectors the correcting light filters are installed, and serially F samples are measured with available spectral coefficients of transmission or reflection and colour coordinates in the old system, receiving signals at the same time from photodetectors for each f sample, for the samples they confirm force factors, values and signs of synaptic links, with which target functions meet the minimum conditions, specified values of synaptic links of coefficients, entered into the permanent memory for further measurement and calculation of colour coordinates.

EFFECT: provision of the possibility to increase accuracy of measurement of colour coordinates.
