FIELD: physics, radio.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used to locate a radio-frequency radiation source. Said result is achieved via multiple direction-finding and recording parameters of radio-frequency radiation from different points on the flight path, comparing the current values of said parameters with their values from each previous reading and recording the obtained data only if the compared values match within an allowable range, which provides high accuracy of identifying a true radio-frequency radiation source and reduces the probability of false alarm; also only those coordinate values falling in the tolerance zone, fixed relative results of the previous reading, are taken into account.
EFFECT: high selectivity of the radio-frequency radiation source.
