FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: tissue is exposed to an input optical fibre. Spectral signals of its diffuse reflectance are recorded with the use of receiving optical fibres. The spectral signals of the diffuse reflection P(λ, L) over at least two distances L from the exposed tissue are measured. Signal differences r(λ,L)=-ln(P(λ,L)/P(λ,L0)) are calculated, wherein L0 is a distance of the input optical fibre and the closest receiving optical fibre, while the concentrations of oxy-, deoxy-, carboxy-, meth- and sulphhemoglobin are determined by solving an inverse problem with the use of analytical expressions approximating correlation r(λ, L) by the estimated parameters.
EFFECT: invention provides higher accuracy of determining the concentrations of hemoglobin derivatives in biological tissue and enhancing the method by increasing the number of the estimated parameters.
