SUBSTANCE: systems and methods are described, which assist multiplexing of communication from multiple below access points to one or more objects of mobility management (MME). A concentration component is provided, which is capable of establishment of a single connection at a transport level with MME together with several connections at the application level by means of a single connection at the transport level for each of multiple below access point and/or related mobile devices. Below access points and/or mobile devices may provide identifiers to a concentration component, which may use identifiers to track connection with MME. In this respect MME may additionally introduce identifiers received from the concentration component into subsequent transfers in order to assist identification of the appropriate below point of access and/or the mobile device.
