FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas cleaning and may be used in gas or oil-refining industry for cleaning absorbers of impurities. Proposed method comprises heating contaminated diethanolamine solution containing the products of diethanolamine destruction and thermostable salts to fractionate produced steam-gas mix in rectifier at 100-110 kPa and vat temperature of 170-180°C with water stripping. Obtained vat residue is fractionated in vacuum rectifier at 1.3-2 kPa and vat temperature of 180-185°C to obtain purified diethanolamine and vat residue containing DEA destruction products and thermostable salts.
EFFECT: higher yield of DEA from contaminated solution.
