METHOD TO MANUFACTURE ARMOURED CABIN OF VEHICLE FROM POLYMER COMPOSITE MATERIALS AND ARMOURED CABIN OF VEHICLE FROM POLYMER COMPOSITE MATERIALS Russian patent published in 2013 - IPC F41H7/04 

FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: according to the proposed method of armoured cabin (1) manufacturing, onto a mandrel (2) with journals (3) on the front and rear surfaces they install limiting angles of the rear end of the cabin (1) with shelves outside, and with shelves inside - frames (5) of an angle (4) of door and window openings (6). Outside these openings (6) to the limiting angles (4) they form a single inner fibre-glass shell (7) of sides, a roof, a bottom and a front panel. For each face, rotating the mandrel (2) on journals (3) for sides, roof and bottom and tilting it - for the front panel, they create armoured-heat-shielding sandwich panels (9), installing edging plastic channels (10) tightly to ends (8) of the shell (7). Sandwich panels (9) are formed, laying armoured layers (11) onto the inner shell (7) and into the cavity of the channels (10), tightly to their walls. The heat-shielding material (12) is distributed along the entire area of the armoured layers (11) and covering sandwich panels (9) with pre-moulded and partially hardened sheets of external lining (13).

EFFECT: increased quality of face surface, strength and stiffness of panels connection, structure manufacturability, with lower fire risk.
