FIELD: railway transport.

SUBSTANCE: this invention covers control compartments of road engines. Control compartment unit (1) of a vehicle includes case (2) and metal frame (3) comprising roof (4), front portion (5) with horizontal stiffening ring (6), bottom portion (7) and side portion (8), back wall with central door opening and bunker pits. Metal frame is made of the units in the form of chassis (12). Front portion chassis are inclined towards the middle portion and are coupled by thrusts with a horizontal beam of the front portion of the stiffener ring. The middle part of the front portion is equipped with stiffening beam (19). Bottom chassis of the frame bottom portion are made with a trapezoidal shoulder and are equipped with the beam which forms a trapezoid base. The front beam of the bottom chassis is coupled with the front beam of the horizontal stiffening beam and vertical supports. A crush member is installed between the vertical supports and the stiffening beam of the front portion. Thrusts are installed between the supports and the beam which forms a trapezoid base.

EFFECT: improvement of technical and operational characteristics, enhancement of operational reliability and protection in emergency cases.
