SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural equipment and can be used for independent feeding both domestic and wild animals. The feeder comprises a carrying frame with a canopy, a hopper for feed equipped with electrical heating, solar panels, lighting elements, battery, system of audio-video monitoring, unit of control, processing and remote data transmission, two multi-layer heat-reflecting screens. The first screen is integrated into the design of the hopper between the electric heaters and heat insulation of the hopper housing, facing with the reflective layer in the direction of the contents of the feeder. The second screen is located on the inner side of the canopy and facing with the reflective layer in the direction of the hopper. The configuration of the screens has a concave parabolic shape, at that the number of layers of the first or second heat-reflecting screen corresponds to values 3…5.

EFFECT: in the feeder the optimal modes of feeding both domestic and wild animals are ensured without human presence in a wide range of ambient temperatures.
