FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine and medical equipment, used in traumatology. Surgical access, reposition of fragments and their fixation by means of claimed device are carried out. The latter is made from material with thermomechanical shape-memory in form of arch-like curved rounded metal construction with sharpened ends. Profile of metal construction corresponds to the shape of transverse section of distal part of articulated bones. From the side of one of the device ends there is a section with diverging at angle extended elements, sharpened ends of which are bent inward. Device is subjected to impact with coolant, which provides possibility of its smoothening. After that, it is moved on posterior surface of bones with transition onto internal surface of tibial bone with covering shin bones from three sides and simultaneous introduction of ends of elements into each splinter.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides fixation of splinters and tibiofibular syndesmosis.
